Hand drawn in black and white, then printed for a 1944 atlas, this street map of St. Louis, Missouri is in beautiful condition. Notice the names of buildings as well as streets.

How much has changed? That's the fun of vintage maps.

Are you into family history? Add the map to a collection of historic family photos and pinpoint the location of their homes or places of business.

Along the bottom of the map it reads, "Map of the central section of St. Louis, the chief city of Missouri and seventh largest city in the United States. The location of St. Louis near the Illinois coal fields and nearness to other raw materials, together with its vast electric power and transportation facilities, have made the city a center for manufacturing and distribution."

I have similar maps of various cities, but I'm sure it will take me awhile to get them all in our shop, so please contact me if you are looking for a specific city.

Dimensions: 10" x 12.75"

This single page map is laying on top of a 11" x 14" black board to show you how it would fit into a 11 x 14 frame. See the last photo for an example (a Chicago map is in that frame). The black board and frame are not included.

This is an actual page from a 1944 atlas. It has printing on the back, but it does not show through.

Your map will be shipped in an archival sleeve and protective mailer.
