Materials

pink tourmaline, green tourmaline, bicolor tourmaline, multicolor tourmaline, watermelon tourmaline, sterling silver, toggle clasp

This necklace consists of pink and green tourmaline; some stones are bicolor or multicolor tourmaline and are a sweet button shape - they remind me of a candy necklace!

The different shades of pink and green range from almost colorless to pale to really dark.

Truly, this is eye candy...

All findings are sterling silver, including the toggle clasp.

The necklace is about 16 and 1/2 inches long.

Tourmaline is a group of several closely related minerals; it is not a single mineral. One of the special characteristics of tourmaline is its wide color range. It occurs in all colors, but pink, red, green, blue, black, and multicolored are its most well-known gem colors. Tourmaline is extremely popular and is a well-known gemstone. Stones with two colors are called bicolor tourmaline and those with more than two are called multicolor tourmaline.
