McCall's 1736 is a four-colour transfer pattern featuring six motifs of American Beauty red roses. Two of each of the motifs are given, ranging in size from a spray measuring 4 3/8" by 5" to a single rose measuring 1 3/8" by 3". The heat-transferred designs can be laundered, and are suitable for transferring to any light-coloured fabric.

Printed in 1952, the envelope has light creasing, a shop stamp and some red transfer from the pattern, but the uncut pattern is complete, including instructions.
