This Skein of handspun yarn is made of hand-dyed cashmere wool in a charcoal black, angora goat mohair wool in its natural grey, and bits of deep red and purple recycled sari silk threads. This yarn is so soft and naturally rustic with lots of handspun character. From raw luxury wool fibers I hand washed, carded and then spun with love on my Schachts spinning wheel, to this center-pull ball of yarn just for you.

The angora super curly locks came from a yearling and the first cutting from a kid. These fibers are superfine, almost cashmere fine, at 16-18 microns. These goats were raised in Helena Montana.

This continuous skein is 2.2 ounces, 2 ply for strength and a finished look, and averages 3.5 mm. Ten strands per inch. 99 Yards.

Great for any project weaving, crocheting or knitting. All my yarns are now 25 cents a yard.

For more handspun yarn or yarn bowls, see my shop section "for the knitter."
