WHICH LENGTH SHOULD I ORDER?
When choosing which length to order, keep in mind that you'll need the bracelet to be about one inch longer than your wrist measurement in order to fit properly. This style will fit a little bit loose, so that the little drop will hang down over the back of your hand. To get your wrist measurement, just wrap a tape measure tight around your wrist at the wrist bone. Then add one inch to your measurement to get the bracelet length. If you don't have a tape measure, you can wrap a thin strip of paper around your wrist, mark the point where it meets up with itself, then lay the paper strip out along a ruler to get the length. Don't use anything thicker than paper or else the extra width will throw off your measurement, resulting in a bracelet that will be too big for you. If this will be a gift and you're not sure which size to order, convo me first and we can probably figure it out. If we somehow don't get it right the first time I'm always happy to do an exchange or refund. Your satisfaction is important to me!
Buy more than one item from my shop at a time and you'll only pay shipping on the first piece -- the rest will ship for free.
Caring for your bracelet:
Leather shouldn't get wet, although if you get caught in the rain every now and then while wearing your bracelet it won't really harm it. Repeatedly wetting the bracelet will cause the leather to dry out and eventually lose its rich color. If the bracelet gets dirty, you can wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. The Argentium sterling clasp will oxidize over time, but it will take much longer than with regular sterling. Argentium is a new formulation of sterling containing the same .925 silver as regular sterling, but the remaining mix of metals has been formulated to resist tarnishing. You can find out more about Argentium on Wikipedia. :) If you'd like to polish the clasp, use a jewelry polishing cloth. I sell these cloths in my shop for $3. They quickly polish all metals, including brass, silver and copper.
