The Aquatic Globe series is really the masterpiece of the Family Tree Glass gallery. Each bottle contains a vast array of ocean life in various bold shapes and vivid colors. They can be veiwed from 360 degrees in order to see all of the fine detail inside. And hiding behind all of the plant life is a small, brightly colored tropical fish, with millefiore eyes for a truly 3-dimensional, realistic effect. All of the different elements, as well as the globe containing them, are actually all one piece of glass. These are shipped without water inside for safety reasons, (*do NOT freeze*) but are ready to be filled with water upon receiving to further enhance the detail.

Brian's Aquatic Globe series has been sought after by private collectors internationally, including Bertram Cohen, whose famous glass marble collection is widely renowned. The series was also published in "Good Things/Small Packages: An Intimate Look at Small Glass" (Public Glass, San Francisco, CA) and has a permanent display in the James Cox Gallery in Woodstock, NY. This series also led Brian to create a related body of work that was commissioned by MGM Grand.

Flameworked borosilicate glass, handblown by Brian, signed by the artist, and kiln-annealed for added durability. (Appx 5.5" tall)
