This is a gorgeous Priscilla of Boston wedding gown circa 1982. It is ivory satin (probably a silk blend, but I'm not positive) and heavily embellished with 2 types of lace. The large lace appliques on the sleeves, bodice, lower front skirt, and train are Alencon lace, and the narrower lace used for trim is Venice lace. The laces are also contrasting colors that blend beautifully for a rich look. The Alencon lace appliques are off white, while the Venice lace is true ivory. The gown is an A-line style, so there is not a defined waist. It has a modified Queen Anne sweetheart neckline, long net sleeves (with a working zipper at each wrist), and a sweeping chapel train. The bodice and sleeves are heavily embellished with lace appliques and trim. The gown has a back zipper that works well. The detail and workmanship are beautiful, as one expects from Priscilla of Boston.
The gown is in excellent to mint condition with no stains, tears, holes, or odors. I think the gown was professionally cleaned and stored after being worn because it is amazingly clean, and there is no hem soil or dust.
The gown is tiny -- probably an X Small in current sizing.
