This striking pendant has four elements that I cast in sterling silver from natural objects, and a stone cut and polished from a local lapidary.

There is a hand cast alder cone, a viburnum leaf, and a twig from a katsura tree. The stone is Ohio flint with an earthy landscape scene. On the back of the stone setting there is a small cast clipping from a cedar tree.

These traditional metalworking techniques were used: casting, stone setting, soldering, hammering, antiquing, polishing.

All handmade, all sterling silver, all connected to make an unusual pendant. One of a kind.

Pendant is 4" from the top of the stone to the bottom of the leaf. Chain is 19" (including the twig). Clasp is handmade and fastens in the front for easy access.

A sculptural piece that is sure to be noticed.
