Back in the day (and maybe even now) KEM playing cards are one of the highest quality brands out there. This set is in almost new condition. I’d go so far as to say mint, but then someone would find a minor flaw… so I’ll go with almost new.

The Ace of spaces indicates a copyright date of 1935. The Ace, as well as the rest of the cards, will come in a plastic box measuring approximately 2 5/8 x 3 7/8. Other sites have indicated that this is a bakelite box; however, I’m not well enough versed to determine if this is accurate or not, so will go with “plastic” box. There are 52 cards on the box, all perfectly matched (13 of each suit).

This set includes a little booklet (shown in photo) titled “10 Answers to 100,000 Questions”. The book includes information about how to get replacements, how to care for and clean the cards (dip them in soapy water and dry) as well as several testimonials. The booklet indicates the box can be replaced for 35 cents and the cards for 25 cents each (prices include postage).
