On the fence on fonts? We recommend choose for me as that gives us the most creative freedom to design your hat.
If no font/fonts are entered at checkout, we will choose and may alter capitalization of the text, depending on the font.
Our library includes hundreds of fonts, so we may use a font/fonts not shown in the font chart.
If no placement is noted (larger center versus smaller corner, we choose what we feel looks best).

TEXT COLOR:
-Recommended text and cap color combinations are listed based on what shows well on each color cap.
-If you prefer a text/cap color combination not listed, message us before purchase to discuss as not all thread colors show well on all caps.

FONTS/DESIGN:
-If no placement preference is noted (larger center versus smaller corner, we choose what we feel looks best).

CORNER VERSUS CENTER PLACEMENT:
-To sew your text in the corner like our Mama example in photo 1, request corner placement in the customization box.
-This usually works best for short text and in general results in a smaller design with smaller lettering.
-When the hat is front of you, the text is on the right side, like the Mama example.
-When you put the hat on and reach up with your left hand, you will touching the embroidery.
-There is no need to include any left/right notes on the order, as corner embroidery all comes on the same side as the Mama sample, and placement cannot be changed.

-If no placement is noted (larger center versus smaller corner, we choose what we feel looks best).
-If you have a preference, please make sure to enter it in the customization box or we will choose.

CHARACTER LIMITS AND SIZING:
-Please do not exceed character counts - if you need more characters per line, please message us before ordering.
-If you need to add graphics/images, please message us first to discuss options and pricing.
-Design size will vary based on the number of lines, font/s and placement chosen.
-If you have a saying like birthday girl, splitting it on 2 lines will give you much larger text than placing it on only one line which will give smaller text.

MOCK UPS:
-This is a quick ship item with no mockups -If you need a mockup, please leave a note at checkout and we are happy to provide one at no charge and make one small change if needed.
-Please keep in mind any mockups will extend the shipping window on your order.
-If any extra mockups are needed beyond the first two, we may have to invoice for these due to the amount of work invested in creating extra designs.
-Once a mockup is sent we cannot cancel the order. If a cancellation is requested, we reserve the right to hold up to a 50 percent cancellation fee for the time invested in the order. This policy helps protects our small business.
-We understand our messages may end up in spam or life gets busy and you may not have time to write us back after proofs are sent. However, if we don't hear back with a final design decision by close to the end of the shipping window, we will have to ship the original draft or the version we deem was liked best based on our conversations.

CAP FEATURES:
-Women's fit, 100 percent washed cotton distressed cap.
-Will fit most teens/adult females.
-Cap base is significantly more expensive than your typical Etsy seller uses for embroidery.
-Soft and unstructured fabric (not a stiff/hard cap).
-Faux/vegan leather, adjustable buckle back.
-Custom designed embroidered onto cap - no patches or vinyl.

STRAP SIZING:
-Our custom vegan leather straps can be clipped to a specific length, if desired, after sizing the cap.
-Most customers will not need or want to clip the strap, but our most petite customers may prefer to clip the strap with scissors if they feel it is too long after sizing the cap down.
-We can clip any strap and/or punch an extra hole in the strap (to make the hat even smaller) by leaving a note at checkout. There is no extra charge for this service.

COLORS AND DISPLAY:
*Caps may vary from sample photos to some degree. They may be lighter/darker, have variations in hue/pigment and/or distressing levels may vary.
*Monitors and screens can also alter color appearance on both caps and thread.
*Please use sample photos and cap and thread color charts only as a guide.
