A lucet, or knitting fork, is a cord making tool that has been used since the Viking times. Braids, or cords, from a lucet have been used for everything from tying up hose, to lacing corsets, to decorative trim on clothing, to modern friendship bracelets. This is a great alternative to knitting i-cords! There are several types of cords or braids that can be made, giving you endless possibilities to create something one of a kind.

Our lucets are 3D printed using an eco friendly and biodegradable PLA material that is derived from renewable resources such as cornstarch and/or sugar cane. It can be recycled where recycling code 7 plastics or bioplastics are accepted.

*Our glow in the dark lucet will glow blue
*Our color changing lucet is pink. It turns orange with heart and purple when cold

*We try to capture the true color in our photographs Your lucet may appear slightly different due to monitor settings and lighting conditions
