This is a beautiful hand fabricated heart pendant styled as an Asyk which is a symbol of fertility in the Turkoman culture of Central Asia . Traditionally these hearts were given by the grooms family to the new bride. I have recreated this design for the modern woman to wear as a symbol of creativity for life. The pendant is made from Sterling silver and a turquoise heart that has been bezel set. The pendant has been oxidized for an antique look and to show off the gold wire detail. The pendant suspends from a silver heart link chain that is adjustable up to 18 inches. Each Turquoise heart will vary slightly in color and matrix pattern. The color is a beautiful blue green with black matrix in different patterns running through.
