Rare FULL SIZE Log Cabin scene was hand painted by Artist G Schlicher. Curly Cream Colored Colonial set of two lamps, each having three parts. Original wiring works!

These are full size hurricane style hammered brass Colonial electrical lamps. They are only slightly shorter than the Gone With The Wind series by Fenton in comparison. They are much larger and taller than the student, courting, boudoir or pancake style lamp series.

The curly custard glass is of the palest soothing creamy Yellow. It has been hand painted with a Log Cabin, Stone Fireplace and Brown Trees in a wrap around scene. The bases have the original antiqued faux oil lamp finish and have never been polished as I was told not to do that.

I bought this set for my parents at a little gift shop between Vineland and Bridgeton, NJ more than 44 yrs ago. The scenes spoke to me of my mind's image that my parents home held for me in my heart. My parents are gone now and I hope that someone out there will love and treasure these beautiful lamps in their own home setting.

Each lamp is in perfect working condition with no chips, scratches or dents from us. The brass shows signs of aging. Only one base is shown in the pictures to give an idea of size proportion. One shows a little more aging than the other, perhaps because it was closer to a window in our old farm house.

Each has an inner hurricane style elongated globe of clear glass with the bottom of its pear shape coated in an opaque white finish. Each glass globe is 14" tall with a 3" base diameter.

The outer fine Fenton piece is of the palest custard yellow ruffled glass. The hand-painted continuous scene is in a rustic mahogany brown colored hue of paint. The scene is of a log cabin with stone fireplace setting completed with many pine trees. There are two taller trees on either side of the log cabin painted forward with one more taller tree of the same nature on the very back.

Each hand-painted, custard yellow ruffled glass outer piece is 11" high and 4" across at the bottom of the open base. It measures about 25" at the widest part of the pear shape. Each has some wear around the area where the glass fits into the brass hammered base. Kindly make a note of this. They are otherwise in pristine condition.

Finally, the hammered antique brass look oil lamp style base has two definite ridges at the top which the separate glass pieces fit down into. The bottom of the felt covered base measures 6" across and it is 10" tall with a circumference of 22" at its widest part.

They will be packed by me and mailed in separate boxes with signature required upon receipt.
