Description

This gorgeous dramatic red 12" ceramic serving plate is made by my friend in Turkey. The intricate raised design features a Tree of Life pattern with a riot of white flowers accented in a deep blue on a melon orange field. The platter has a subtle relief to plate which makes the design all the more interesting. Makes a great platter to display on your kitchen counter or an impressive serving piece at a dinner party! If you would like to hang this on the wall there is a tiny hole you can string a wire through on the back of the plate (see last detail picture). Most of my customers use this practical piece of dinnerware for a cheese or cookie tray, fruit platter or serving tray. However you use it, it is sure to brighten any table, counter or wall!

The symbolism of the Tree of Life means: a fresh start on life, positive energy, good health and strength and a bright future. The symbolism is especially meaningful if you are giving this as a wedding gift or a present for a special friend.

The dramatic design of this Tree of Life platter always attracts interest in our shop. Last year this pattern was among our best sellers so if you are looking at buying this for a gift, this platter would be an excellent choice. If you or the person you are gifting loves decorating with a flair and loves red, this is the perfect platter to get!

All ceramics in our shop are food and dishwasher safe. This is a piece of art so please don't put it into the microwave. A microwave will compromise the raised design on the plate.

Shipping cost includes an over-sized box, ample packing materials, and expedited shipping...you'll want your platter to arrive in one piece! USPS shipping costs have increased. If you paid more to ship than it cost, we will issue you a refund on the overage.

FAQs

Sometimes shippers are not careful and ceramics arrive broken. If this happens, take a picture of the broken item and email us. We will offer you an exchange or refund your money right away.
Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.
The US postal service is increasing shipping rates so unfortunately we are raising our shipping rates too starting in 2019. This increase won't be much, but we do have to cover our costs to ship, especially for large items in over-sized boxes, that contain breakable items such as large ceramic bowls and platters.
This past year Etsy has encouraged sellers to offer "free" shipping. What this usually means is that the cost of shipping is absorbed into the cost of the item. When a shop like mine ships large boxes full of breakable items, there is a lot of cost involved with that for both the shipping materials and actual shipping fee to your location. I have opted to keep shipping costs separate from the total cost of the item so the actual shipping cost is transparent for you. WE REGULARLY GIVE SHIPPING REFUNDS IF YOU HAVE PAID MORE FOR SHIPPING THAN IT COSTS TO SEND.
