This is a (4 times) larger version of the round pill or stash box that I have been making for years. It is lined with a gold anodized steel press fit canister. My goal with this design was to make a perfect pill box, ring box, small jewelry box, or stash box box. It is easily opened by twisting the two halves apart and the fit is just right, not too tight and not too loose. It has a nice deep compartment good for hiding your most valuable treasure. For durability, smoothness, and aesthetics, the finish is 3 coats of water based lacquer. My signature is engraved in the bottom.

You can choose to add a personalized monogram on the top for an extra $5. Please see this listing for details and add to your cart along with the box:

Dimensions: 2.875" in diameter by 1.1875" thick
Internal: 2.35” diameter, .875”deep

Woods: See photos above and choose from drop down list.

The finish I use is a CAB acrylic lacquer from Sherwin Williams with the vinyl sealer base coat. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Custom orders are accepted based on wood type only, unless a large quantity is desired. My boxes are all made in batches and are not conducive to size changes. I can do monograms as seen in this listing:
