A beautiful chromolithograph from 1896 featuring six varieties of the most interesting American birds including the Ruffed Grouse, Blue Jay, Mocking Bird, Quail, or Bobwhite, Upland Plover and California Jay. Below the illustration is this text: Here are some common birds of the fields and woods. The ruffed grouse and the quail are game birds, and the mocking bird is one ofour sweetest singers. The jays are noisy and quarrelsome. The upland plover is really a sandpiper.

This lovely original antique print measures 6.5 x 9.5 inches and is in beautiful condition. Blank on the reverse side and perfect to frame. The paper has a smooth and satiny finish to it.

Interesting American Birds will be mailed to you in a non-bendable mailer carefully housed in an acid-free archival sleeve.
