Height: 13 Inches; Width: 19 Inches

Signed (unframed) archival digital print of watercolor painting, drawn live at the SXSW interactive conference March 7, 2018. I was drawing a a panel on trust in media where Dan Rather spoke on the importance of civics, understanding the branches of government, what their functions are and the separation and balance of powers. Dan was lamenting the way students used to be educated on civics and how the lack of it has contributed to the degradation of constructive debate and the health of our democracy. He reinforced the idea of a free and vibrant press being "The beating heart of our democracy"and that while skepticism was healthy for our country, a cynical outlook was perilous to our future. Image size 11x14", paper size 13x19".
