Over the years I have acquired a great collection of working telephones and accessories through my husband’s work. While I still enjoy them, I only have room for a select few favorites. Ranging from rare and not so old to nostalgic Bakelite classics, these represent the “every day” life of telecommunications before the iPhone and PDA's.

First introduced in the mid 1940’s to compete with the Western Electric model 302, this one is from circa 1952. The body and handset are original North Electric Bakelite, and the original wiring schematic is retained inside.

The phone is clean, but not polished or restored. It is in excellent working condition, including the dial and ringer. It has it's original rubber-coated wiring, and is wired for a single party line – meaning you can use it in your home if not on a party line (do they even have party lines anymore?).
