Bright and cheerful yellow fluted beads separated by purple/magenta seed beads. Barrel clasp.

It may be hard to imagine, but before the1960's, most Mardi Gras beads were made from Czechoslovakian glass. This strand likely dates from the 1940's, but may be a bit older or newer.

Length: 12"
Condition: Very Good. No broken or missing beads. The clasp is fairly rusted.

Please note that all of my necklaces are quite old and very fragile. If you plan to wear them, you should probably re-string them. Otherwise, these coveted vintage Czechoslovakian glass beads would be fantastic for other art or jewelry projects.

Please check my store for more beautiful vintage glass and plastic Mardi Gras beads!
