Tiger Eye EARTH
This shirt is part of series of designs inspired by nature and the elements, and the tiger is a powerful representative of both. It's likeness is used throughout martial arts due to the grace, agility, and power martial artists try to embody. I have studied Shotokan karate since 1995 (I'm not sure I even embody a house cat, though), and have dabbled in many other martial arts in that time, as well. More recently, I was able to study at a traditional jiujitsu school named Ten Tigers Honto Jutsu for a few years. While there, I drafted some designs for a new school logo, one of which was a tiger eye in a ring with the school name. None of the images ended up being used before life got in the way and I was no longer able to go to classes, but I thought the tiger eye would make a great shirt. I decided to dust it off and turn it into a shirt, but was unhappy with my old work and I ended up redrawing the whole thing from scratch. I'm much happier with this version.
This thick cotton t-shirt makes for a go-to wardrobe staple! It's comfortable, soft, and its tubular construction means it's less fitted.
