As seen in the October 2011 issue of Bird Talk magazine!

Baltimore Orioles are so amazing to me, I rarely see them and when I do I am always stunned by the brilliance of their orange breasts countered by the deepest black of their heads and wings.

I made this oriole from earthenware clay that I hand formed and incised to get all the little feather details. Then I glazed with non-toxic glazes to create a very realistic look. This guy is 6 inches from beak to tail tip and 1.75 inches at his widest. He feels absolutely wonderful sitting in the palm of your hand! He comes with his recycled bottle glass stand, that is 4 inches tall by itself. He is easily removable from and can be repositioned on his stand.

He is one of a kind since no molds were used and even though I will make more, every one will be unique.

Made by me, Carrie Wolf of Austin, Texas.

He comes beautifully gift boxed and is ready to ship!
