Handmade

Materials

PYMII satin clear coat, professional grade polymer clay, gold metallic gilders paste, Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint, 18 karat liquid gold leaf

Dimensions

Length: 2.25 Inches; Width: 2 Inches

This little heart shaped ring box holds 1 to approximately 5 or 6 rings, depending on their sizes. I hand formed this in polymer clay, then hand painted and accented the edges in real liquid gold leaf. My intent with this design was to give it a Mexican flair. I embossed hearts, circles, dots, and lines into the lid. The box I initially painted in a dark blue purple black. I then rubbed antique gold gilders paste over the surface so that the dark colour showed in the indents and crevices. The heart and circle motifs on the lid of the little heart box I painted in artist grade acrylic pigment. I further accented the edges as well as some of the elements on the lid with real 18 karat liquid gold leaf. The base I have lightly dry brushed the deep coral red and turquoise colours over the texture in the surface.
The lid sits loosely on top, there are little ridges inside that keep it from sliding off, but it does not sit tight and sealed nor perfect at every point. Please bare in mind that this is a hand formed, freehand style, little clay piece so the forms have a quaint primitiveness to them, they are not perfect and manufactured looking in nature.
The little primitive tooled heart jewelry box has been sealed in non yellowing satin finish clear coat, especially designed to use on polymer clay, polymers, and acrylics.

Perfect for presenting an engagement ring in, or keeping your favourite small piece of jewelry in, your wedding ring set, etc. Makes a nice little token gift for a friend or family member as well! The little heart shaped box is unique and one of a kind.

Dish Size: The dish is 2 1/2" across, 2" from front to back and an 1 1/4" tall lid top to bottom. It fits several rings or tiny objects, depending on their sizes. Please know that food or candy cannot be stored in any of my boxes or ring dishes.

Dish Care: Do not soak in soap and water or cleaning solutions for periods of time to clean nor vigorously scrub to clean as over time this could affect the finish. Though getting water on it won't hurt it. Is best cleaned lightly with the tip of a slightly damp cloth or lightly dusted on occasion. Though polymer clay when cured, is very durable, it will not withstand being dropped on a hard surface or stepped on, etc.

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

I am able to accept personalized or custom orders, but am unable to offer refunds on either. Cancellations are accepted only if requested within a 12 hour period after ordering.
My sizes are described as accurate as possible. Questions are always welcome. Lengths of necklaces can be altered upon request, upon purchasing, in most cases.
Polymer clay is not harmed by water, but some of the finishes and clear coats, as well as the metal pieces, can be, over time. It is recommended that cleaning solutions are not used, clay pieces are not worn into hot tubs, pools, and not repeatedly in the shower.
I am happy to gift wrap, or add personal notes, if requested, within reason. Sorry, I will not send anything anonymously from a buyer to their recipient, upon receiving such requests, under any circumstances.
Wholesale is not really a possibility for my pieces, as most are one of a kind, and some of my supplies are antique, upcycled, and limited.
My jewellery and accessories are not recommended for young children.
I ship your purchase tracked and insured. I only charge what it costs me to ship from Canada to your location so that your package is shipped safely to you. It is $16.00+ Canadian minimum, to ship tracked small packages to US addresses. So, as you can work out yourself, my shipping is generally undercharged.
I do not charge extra for handling or packing materials, and I make no profit at all on the shipping I charge.
