This crochet pattern includes instructions for making a planter box that you can plant potatoes, turnips, carrots and onions in. The turnip pattern could also be used to make raddishes or beets just by changing the yarn color.

-- Planter box: approx. 11" long, 5" wide and 4" tall (not including the grass);
-- onion: approx. 6" long and 2.5" in diameter;
-- carrot: approx. 6" long and 2" in diameter;
-- potato: approx. 4.5" long and 2.5" in diameter; and
-- turnip: 7.5" long (including leaves) and 2.5" in diameter.

To complete this project you will need to know how to chain, make a magic adjustable ring, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, single crochet in the round, increase and decrease stitches, and slip stitch.
