This unique pull down map entitled, "Abolition, Reconstruction & Civil War" was published by Denoyer Geppert Co. as part of the series of Social Science maps. It was published circa 1950's. It is a two part map; with an upper and lower portion with different themes....

The upper portion of the map shows four different sections: Abolition, Cotton Production, Reconstruction and Per Capita Wealth. Each of these four maps highlight information and events, giving a glimpse into a different time. For example, the Reconstruction maps highlight dates & locations of Ku Klux Klan events.

The lower portion of the map shows the battles and movements of the Civil War, showing all of the Federal and Confederate routes. It has several very detailed insets, including the Atlanta Campaigns, Virginia Campaigns, and the Vicksburg Campaign of 1863.

This map measures around 44'' wide x 74'' tall. It is in very good condition and would be perfect for someone interested in Civil War history.

Due to it's large size, the shipping charge is more than our other maps. If you are interested in International Shipping on this item please contact us.
