This is what I like to call a graphical or 'word liberation'.

It was made by placing found aquatic images directly on top of pages from a found book about marine life. No words were rearranged in the process, although pages were selected.

The result is a 16 page, borderless, full-color zine about marginalization.

If you're still unsure about this crazy zine, here's a review from the good people at Zine World (issue #29):

"An exercise in 'word liberation,' this is an excellent example of found poetry...The result is delightfully innovative and surprisingly poetic. Kudos"

For the past few years, I've sold this zine in bookstores across the country, including Bluestockings (NYC), Printed Matter (NYC), City Lights (SF), Downtown Books and News (Asheville), and Bookworks (Albuquerque). And now, it's available online!
