The Argus C3 Range Finder Camera with a built-in leather case

This extremely popular and collectible bakelite-bodied camera, affectionately known as "The Brick," was mass-produced from 1939 to 1966 in the United States but loved worldwide. From the serial number and camera features, this particular model had to have been made between 1945-1950.

More information and fabulous links to fan pages and user manuals can be found at Camerapedia: http://camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Argus_C3

The case is well-worn but holds together and closes. The snap closure is missing and someone's name and some numbers are written on the inside (see photo). This is not a "like-new" case, but something functional with history and personality.
