it works! made in the 1930s in windsor england by john corby ltd for countess mara this dark brown bakelite tie press allowed the well dressed gent to keep his ties in tip top shape.
a necktie is laid onto the cloth conveyor inside and cranked snugly onto two metal rollers, then released with the lever on top. voila! creaseless cravats!

very good vintage condition. bakelite shows signs of wear and age but mechanism still works. few small spots on cloth conveyor. all original parts.
