Red Bohemian Pressed Glass Earrings

I have seen these referred to as "dog bone" but personally I think some are simply making up new names...
These trade beads are actually just Bohemian Pressed Glass, probably round about 1940s or a little earlier maybe… because when I think about what was going on in that country at that time…I'm not sure that making beads was a priority!
Anyway, I stabilized the holes here with a short piece of narrow tubing because these holes are not very big and are always the same size. You see, the beads are made mechanically, with molds. I have turned the beads so that you can see the seams. The red is wonderful and I resisted putting in any copper this time. The earrings hang 34 mm below their silver ear wires.

(ps.You may notice that I have brought my prices down... I am closing my gallery and do not have to keep my prices on Etsy at the same level as the gallery any more...)
