(5.56 Shown on Rosewood || 50BMG shown on Cherry)

This version of my displays takes the educational functionality to the next level. Not only does it show the classic exploded-cartridge model, but it also features an intact cartridge. This allows you to better visualize how the five components interact with each other and become a single round of ammunition.

The dimensions of the 5.56 base are 4-1/4" x 2-1/8" x 3/4"
The dimensions of the 50BMG base are 10-1/2" x 3" x 3/4"

Choose from one of these iconic calibers, or contact me directly is you would like a different caliber done in this style.

If you would like personalization, it is available. Please contact me before checking out as regular production lead times of 2-5 weeks are applicable for changes. I can customize the base with engraving and printing. Pricing begins at $25 (discounts for more than one). Please contact us BEFORE CHECKING OUT to work out the details. I will need to know:

1) The type of wood you would like
2) What you would like to have engraved

If you are trying to decide which base to choose, the Rosewood is one of my favorites. It has a dense weight and deep, rich color that is very elegant and professional looking.

The model is made from real, deconstructed live cartridges. No plastic or reproduction parts are used. The dings and small dents are straight from the factory and are true to what you would find in live LC ammo. This is completely natural and provides an authentic look to the display. All the components and the models themselves are 100% American made.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Each of our Patented* designs are meticulously hand fitted together in order to maximize its visual impact. Each component (the primer cup, anvil, cartridge case, gunpowder, and bullet) have been expanded out along a central axis and in an order to show how and where they fit together to make a live "round" of ammunition.

The display is made using a solid core design to ensure durability. The unique appearance of the powder is created using a proprietary bonding technique that I developed to keep the SimPowder suspended in shape.

Each display is handmade to order and this is the reason for the long processing time. Typically, it will take about 2 weeks to produce a model, but during the holiday seasons, lead times can grow exponentially. As with any handmade work, there will be variation from piece to piece and no two will ever look exactly the same.

Due to the natural growth of wood, the appearance of the wood bases (grain patterns, figuring, coloration, etc.) will vary from piece to piece.

As all products are handmade to order, they are subject to a 2-5 week processing/build time. Once your order is complete in full and shipped, delivery can take from 2-10 days domestic (more for international shipping) depending on the type of shipping you purchased at checkout.
