Multicoloured Circular Fruit Basket- in white and blue with a red stripe.

This woven fruit basket has been handmade from recycled plastic by a community of skilled, traditional women weavers in Bolgatanga, Upper East Ghana.

This basket is great for storing fruit and vegetables, and is an attractive bowl to have on the kitchen table.

Because our practical woven bowl is waterproof too, it can also be used in the bathroom.

About Us:
Through the our work as Care For Basket, we provide fairly paid work for 5 rural communities in Bolgatanga. With the money they earn from basket weaving, the women are able to buy food, support their families and pay for their children's education.

Feel-good:
Through purchasing one of our baskets you are not only reducing plastic waste, and therefore helping the environment and the oceans, you are also supporting rural communities who have been badly effected by climate change and drought to thrive and prosper. Help us to keep supporting the UN sustainable development goals!
