GROVES TASTELESS CHILL TONIC PREPARED BY PARIS MEDICINE CO. ST. LOUIS. Color, aqua. 5 3/4" tall, BIM tooled lip. I found this bottle on one of my digs in Arkansas. This is really a super clean bottle with no cracks, bruises, stain or chips. Bottle does have a couple of tiny scuff marks on base. This bottle is a dug find in mint condition....

Groves Tasteless Chill Tonic, History;
Edwin Wiley Grove developed this tasteless quinine tonic, because the others tasted so bitter. He became a millionaire and used his money to build the Grove Park Inn, which is a very popular inn in the mountains of NC. His company was in Paris Tennessee, but in 1891 he moved it to St Louis.
