White lightning is the perfect cleaner for your painting project. It is a degreaser and deglosser, so gloves are recommeded.

Mix one TBSP in half a gallon of warm water. Using a clean lint-free rag or Dixie Belle’s Applicator Pad, clean your piece well. Then, rinse with clean water to remove any residue. Allow to dry before painting.

Success with my first chalk paint project using Dixie Belle products. White Lightening cleaner worked as described. Paint color was Caviar. Went on smoothly with good coverage. Painted a honey oak finish and I applied a second light coat for best coverage. Would buy again. Best Dang Wax might need another application. Trying not to touch to much or put things on it until the 30 day curing period ends.
