This is a pretty great pattern for the most part. I originally tried to use Kinpatsu Cosplay's pattern but when it didn't even come with printing instructions and didn't print the right size off the bat I picked this one up. I do feel like because of its extremely minimal instructions there were a couple times where I wasn't sure if what I was doing was correct. Everything is essentially just numbered or color coded which was fine until there was an indication that edges should be at a beveled angle and then no indication as to which edges or where. This also might have just been me being absolutely dumb but at first I didn't realize you have to make each part of the crown of the hat into a tube *first* and then attach the tubes to each other because there was no number or instruction indicating so. Overall it was fine.
