What a wonderful moment on the banks of the Thames from the late 1800's.

This late 1800's photographic slide is still in its original wooden frame and I have chosen not to interfere with what nearly a century and a half has so perfectly preserved. Slides such as these were most often used in traveling Magic Lantern Shows--the talkie film's predecessor--and accompanied music and scripts used to tell a story. Now it would make a fantastic conversation piece in your window or even hanging on the wall.

This slide is labeled "Westminster Bridge and St. Thomas Hospital." It measures approximately 7" wide by 4" tall with the slide itself measuring approximately 3" in diameter.

At the moment, the slide is in its original pristine condition. If you would like to hang it, I would be happy to attach eyelet screws in the wood frame for hanging. Just let me know in your note to seller at checkout.

Any gift sales will be lovingly wrapped free of charge. Just convo me with your request at checkout.

I love to ship internationally! Please convo me for shipping rates.

Thank you so much for looking!
