More than a decade before Hemingway discovered it in 1939, Cuba was THE destination for international jet-setters looking for gambling and nightlife in a topical paradise. All of that came to an end as the seeds of revolution fomented in the late 1950s and Castro came to power, but this eclectic lot of ephemera offers a glimpse of that bygone era. Most items are souvenirs from a New Year's Eve holiday taken in 1928.
