Intense color is coupled with a dynamic shape in this awesome Royal Haeger pottery vase. The deep orange glaze--called 'Mandarin Orange' by Haeger--is actually two shades, with a darker color sprayed or stippled top on for a richer, layered effect. Circa 1960.

Measures 16 inches (40.6 cm) high, about 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) wide, about 4 3/4 inches deep. Molded mark on underside ‘Royal Haeger 483 USA’ with original label inside mouth.

Overall condition is very good, with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a couple dark spots in the glaze, as is typical with this Mandarin orange glaze. You can just see a few of these dark spots in the details, along with the variation in the glaze throughout.
