🌴 I made this Moonrise shell pendant tropical necklace using a Moonrise shell (a color variant of the Sunrise shell) that was collected by hand in Hawaii. This tropical shell wearable art is unique and one-of-a-kind. Back in the day Sunrise shells were only worn by Hawaiian royalty. However, now they have become an extremely popular shell to use in jewelry. These shells are extremely rare to find on the shore and require divers to go down to depths of 100 ft to find the shells along ocean walls.

🌴 This beach jewelry Moonrise shell necklace is made using a stunning Hawaiian Sunrise shell. The term Moonrise is used because the coloring resembles a moonrise more than a sunrise. On the back of the shell, I attached a silver ring to the shell using strong resin, sand, and shells. The small shells on the back are Kahelelani shells that were personally found on the island of Oahu.
