Necklace length: 21 Inches; Pendant height: 2 1/2 Inches; Pendant width: 1 Inches

This necklace is perfect for the pink lover! It features a polished cabochon of rich pink banded Rhodochrosite, along with a smaller cabochon of pink Mangano calcite, both set in sterling silver. Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral ranging from light pink to brighter deep pink, and even brownish pink, and contains streaks and bands of white, and deeper to more pale pinks. It has been found in the silver mines of Romania, in Capillitas, Argentina, and Colorado. Pink Mangano calcite is a carbonate mineral found in Peru, and is a very pale, almost white color. I set both polished stones in a serrated sterling silver bezel, and backed with 24 gauge sterling silver sheet. I created the hanger by making a v-shaped tube, wrapped with strips of the 24 gauge sheet. Sarah then ran the beads through the tube. The beads pull out the pale pinks, whites and deeper pinks of the stones in the centerpiece. These beads include rose quartz, strawberry quartz, Rhodonite, Rhodochrosite, cultured pearls, Swarovski crystal, and Czech glass. There are multiple sterling silver spacer beads, and larger elaborate sterling focal beads to bring out the sparkle of silver in the necklace. The hook and loop style clasp is also sterling silver. This necklace is 21 inches long, and the centerpiece pendant measures 2 1/2 inches long, by 1 inch wide. This piece will be elegant with both casual and more formal attire, sure to be a real eye catcher!
