These vintage Ball jars are great for votives, flowers, or just sitting there looking pretty on a windowsill or shelf. They are collector items. Some I've seen when they have lids, are the screw on type, but these have the zinc bales that I think look better as you still have something showing when the lids are off and you have something in them. The smaller is a little paler aqua than the larger.

These very unusual colored jars were patented on July 14, 1908 (it has it on the jars) and are numbered 2 and 5 on the bottoms. I've read the number is for the blower who blew the glass for the mold. At the end of the day, he and his crew received credit for how many they did in a day. In my research, the style of the Ball name dates these at 1923-1933.

Measure approx:
Pint Jar 5-1/8" tall and 11-1/2" around
Quart Jar 7" tall and 12-1/2" around
