This listing is for a beautiful antique pocket watch made by Waltham, an American watchmaker founded in 1850. The serial number on this watch is 14173488, dating it's manufacture to the year 1904. The model is 1892, and the grade is 845. This watch is Railroad Quality.

The size 18 open faced watch has 21 jewels and is adjustable to 5 positions. It is enclosed in a gold-filled case with a ship's wheel logo and the numbers 276108. The back screws on and off, instead of flipping out.
There is a small amount of "brassing" on case, also some very slight scratches on crystal, a small yellowing spot on secondhand dial, as well as a very tiny scratch(crack?) near #1 on dial. Otherwise, this watch is in excellent condition for it's age. It winds properly and appears to keep good time. There is a fast/slow adjustment inside the back of the case for further tweaking.

Note: All antique watches should be serviced regularly if one plans to use them. This one was last serviced a few years ago and kept in a collection belonging to my grandfather.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to send me a convo. Thank you.
