Antique Vaseline Tin, Camphor Ice, Chesebrough Manufacturing Co. 1889 - 1901.

Chesebrough Manufacturing Co. founded in 1859; produced Vaseline.
Vogel & Bros produced tinware from 1870-1901.
Bottom of tin, in very tiny print is: "WM VOGEL & BROS, BROOKLYN N.Y."
Considering the last award date on the bottom of the tin, this tin would have originated anywhere from 1889 - 1901.
Gold metal w/green print on top of lid, black print on bottom.

Approximate measurements:
2 7/8" wide
7/8" high
1 3/4" long

Great condition considering its age.
There are scratches present.
There is wear noted where you lift the lid; where the top of the lid fits over the bottom.
No dents.
No contents inside.
Item #R4

I found this great tin in a small shop in the Historic town of Ridgeway, SC.
