Spring comes late to the north woods, but here is proof that it has come! Nothing is cuter than a wobbly, long legged little goat kid struggling to take its first milk, and even though I know I don't have to, I always help them find their mom's teat and get it in their pink little mouths. This limited batch, seasonal soap was inspired by milking the rich colostrum milk from my first goat soon after she kidded. Colostrum milk is only produced for the first few days after birth, it contains the special antibodies and extra nutrients that a newborn needs to develop a strong immune system in their new world. All goat milk soap is better for your skin than water based soap, but this one is the best! This soap contains nature's substance of rebirth and rejuvination: colostrum , free range egg, garden parsley and nettle (which are traditional spring herbs taken to "get the blood flowing"). Nettle is helpful for eczema. You might feel a pleasant, mild tingling sensation while using it--that's just the nettle doing its job, increasing blood flow to your skin. The smell of this soap is a combination of essential oils that remind me of warming earth and flowers.

That's my little girl holding "her" goat that she named Brier Rose.

I only make one batch of Signs of Spring a year!

approximately 4.25 oz.

ingredients: Olive oil, colostrum goat milk, palm oil, coconut oil, lye, clary sage, cedarwood, and lavender essential oils, free range eggs, nettle, garden parsley.

My soaps are real soap, made from scratch using the cold-process method of combining fats with lye, not the melt-and-pour type. Notice that all of my ingredients are ones that you recognize, no chemicals that make you wonder what they are or what they do to you! I use many organic ingredients. Each bar is unique, hand cut, and hand wrapped. My soap lasts a long time as long as you take care to let it dry out between uses.

If you want to order 3 or more bars of any type, I can save you on shipping charges if you email or convo me with what you would like, then I can create a custom listing with the lowest shipping price available to me.

Each person's skin has its own likes and dislikes, and it's hard to say which will be the best soap for people with sensitive skin. If you would like to try a selection of my soaps to determine which is best for your skin, I am happy to sell you a collection of samples for the cost of listing, packaging and shipping. Just contact me, I'm here to help!
