This is an original encaustic (beeswax + pigment+ resin) painting on cradled wood, with birds cut from scraps of fabric.
This painting is from a body of work that all began when I started creating reusable food wraps, and my studio became filled with a mess of colorful fabric scraps. I began imagining these chaotic piles of scraps arranged into something fun, funky and beautiful...Everything happens for a reason!
Ready to hang or may be framed (frame not included).

These are charming and exactly what I need for my guest bedroom . The color is spot on to the shop photos. The post office beat this box up but luckily they were packed to survive the trip!

These are awesome! I was trying to use beeswax wraps to form a bag and it just wasnt working for me. Lol. I love these! I have my butter wrapped in a small bag right now! :) Great buy for me!
