Awesome fiber, luxurious cashmere fiber is waiting for you to spin into beautiful designer yarn or blend with other fiber. Very soft, silky texture. I obtain a bag of this awesome fiber directly from India, from a small village of Ladakh region. (Lucky to have my ex students all over the world, I was a teacher for 12 years back in the Ukraine and now my ex students live and work all over the world).
And do you know this very interesting fact, that cashmere is the soft undercoat of the cashmere goats, one of the most exotic and rare rest fibers. In South Asia cashmere is called pashmina (Persian pashmina meaning fine wool). Since these goats belong to the upper Kashmir and Ladakh region, their wool came to be known as cashmere in the WEST. The pashmina shawls of Kashmir with their intricate embroidery are very famous.
I have 100% pure white cashmere fiber ( may be with a little touch of cream, depends how the lights fall on the fiber) from Ladakh region, India. I sent to process here in my state in Tennessee, USA (cleaning & dehaired) to produce fantastic clouds of awesome fiber for your projects. This fiber is ready for spinning
Cashmere fiber is harvested by being combed from the belly of cashmere goats.
You can spin it as it is or blend with any other fiber. Spin a little luxury for yourself or as a gift to the person you love. According to the WIKIPEDIA (the free encyclopedia), there are 11 cashmere producing breeds).
This listing is for 1 oz fiber.
If you want more, please tell me & I will put a special listing for you.
