vintage glass beads, copper, patina and sealer

Zodiac Hair Stick | Rustic Hair Pin | vintage Hair Accessories

This listing features hair pins made of vintage zodiac beads from Germany made in the 1960's and copper that has been aged and sealed.

I used a technique called Copper Electroforming which takes a few days to complete due to the slow process of growing real copper onto a conductive surface.

The black glass beads are approximately 19x15x4mm and 6' inches long including the beads, except for the taurus hair stick which measures 5 1/2 inches long.

I have other beads available if you would like a custom order.

How to care for Copper Electroformed Necklaces and rings:

Some of the copper items have a coat of ProtectaClear and it will be noted in that particular listing.
Some people use coconut oil, beeswax and clear nail polish for copper rings.

I did try the nail polish for my copper rings and it works great for a few weeks or months depending on the item.

Please avoid water since it will create natural patina to the copper.
A polishing cloth works great also even for the wire wrapped jewelry, silver and copper electroformed.
Please note that I have the right to refuse custom work to anyone. If you need a custom order, contact me to see if I'm able and available to satisfy your needs.
All custom work has to be paid in full before shipping. Thank you for understanding.
