Colourful and playful! Vikings would do almost anything to get their hands on beads to adorn themselves with. Glass with inticate designs, semi precoius stone and metal beads were all fashionable, as were coins from near and far. They didn't use necklaces like this though, but tied strands of beads to "spreaders" and attached to their garment. Some belive this was a way to show status. Some believe that your chest was the safest place to keep your treasures.

Inspired by the voyagers a thousand years ago here is a:

Necklace with replicas of glass beads found in Viking graves in Scandinavia. Gemstones in shapes and cuts common at that time, and some regular glass beads resembling glass beads of that time. Red agate, peach aventurine, frosted glass crow beads and Czech glass beads in stunning colours make up this little treasure.

Adjustable waxed cotton cord.

Max length 66 cm (26 inches) minimum 50 cm (19 ½ inches)
