The Sew4Home Baby on Board Backpack Diaper Bag is a PDF sewing pattern. This digital pattern is only available to print at home by instant download, immediately after completing checkout. As an ePattern, it includes instructions and photos to take you through each step of the construction. It does not include materials. Instructions are in English. We do not offer translation services at this time.

Why tie up your hands carrying a diaper bag when you can use a backpack?! Our beautiful bag finishes at 16” high x 12” wide x 6” deep and can be worn as a backpack or hand carried. The adjustable straps are removable and the carry handles are corded for strength and softness.

Not only do you get the two carrying options, our trendy design has a sleek, unisex style that gives the bag a professional look anyone would be comfortable using… because not everyone loves quilted totes emblazoned with duckies and bunnies – sometimes you want to travel with baby while still rockin’ a bit of urban flair.

Because babies and toddlers require a lot of accouterments when they venture out and about, we made sure there were plenty of places to stash everything you need. There are five exterior pockets, one with an exposed zipper, plus five pockets in the wipe-clean, water-resistant ripstop lining.

Originally released as part of the Sew4Home Maker’s Club; it’s now available exclusively in the S4H Etsy Shop.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ETSY ACCOUNT: Within about five minutes of purchase Etsy will send an email TO YOUR ETSY EMAIL ADDRESS. The email’s subject line will say: SEW4HOMESHOP DOWNLOAD IS READY and will contain a link for you to download and save the PDF files on your computer.

THIS EMAIL IS ONLY SENT ONCE FROM ETSY – BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND REMEMBER TO MAKE A NOTE OF WHERE ON THE COMPUTER YOU’VE DOWNLOADED YOUR FILE(S).

IMPORTANT: ETSY DOES NOT ALLOW DIGITAL PURCHASES TO BE DOWNLOADED THROUGH THEIR ETSY APP AT THIS TIME. TO DOWNLOAD, SIGN INTO ETSY ON YOUR MOBILE BROWSER OR COMPUTER.

THE FIRST FILE CONTAINS A COVER PAGE, ALL THE STEPS, AND ALL THE FULL COLOR INSTRUCTIONAL PHOTOS - THIS IS GREAT FOR VIEWING ON YOUR COMPUTER OR OTHER DIGITAL DEVICE TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS (26 PAGES TO PRINT).

THE SECOND FILE IS CONDENSED TO JUST THE STEPS (ALL PHOTOS REMOVED) TO MAKE PRINTING EVEN MORE EFFICIENT (9 PAGES TO PRINT).

THE THIRD FILE IS JUST THE PATTERN PIECES (1 PAGE TO PRINT). SEPARATING OUT THE PATTERN PIECES IS ESPECIALLY HELPFUL, ALLOWING YOU TO JUST PRINT THESE AND REFER TO YOUR COMPUTER OR OTHER DIGITAL DEVICE FOR ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
