Item details

Pneumatic burin, robust construction and great design, made of steel, bronze and wood, with stainless steel cylinder and piston, with fine regulation by millimeter thread of 0.75. The tool holder is made of stainless steel, to receive a burin or an HSS steel tool of 3,17 mm (1/8) in diameter (inserted). The burin is 85 mm long (without a graver) and weighs approximately 80 grs. / 2.82 oz., which makes it feel comfortable in your hand.
It allows engraving on hard metals such as steel very easily. Once you start using the pneumatic burin, you will hardly want to go back to using the traditional.
There is no risk of accidents and is a very secure tool, even if the point of the burin breaks, it will continue its normal operation. The hand almost does not exert pressure, it only directs it, and it is the compressed air that makes it move.
In the United States, 90% of the engravers use it, and in Antwerp (Belgium) it is also used for the setting of stones in jewelry since it accelerates working time a lot.
Each of the pieces were designed and built by Pablo Bellini, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jeweler specialized in engraving steel, silver and other metals.
