Gorgeous 1930s dress in a pale and sheer yellow gauze. The dress is comprised of 2 layers. The bodice under-layer has spaghetti straps. The bodice has a dramatic sailor inspired collar that dips down to the waist in the back. Both skirt layers have a wide sweep and uneven hanky hem with some bias cut angles below the knee. Metal side zipper. Structurally sound but there are some faint stains (orange) on the skirt. Gently cleaned in Woolite but I think Retro Clean would lift those stains. They are faint enough that I don't think they showed up in my photos. (You can right click to enlarge pix) There is a very small hole starting under one armpit. This would make a stunning wedding dress. Demure in silhouette but sexy in its sheerness.

Measurements:
chest- up to 34"
waist- 27"
hip- open
length from shoulder to waist- 15"
length from waist to hem- up to about 48"
Fabric does not stretch.

I combine shipping on multiple items.

*MEASURING TIP*
My clothing measurements are taken with garments laying flat. Chest and hip measurements are doubled. The best way to utilize this is to take a similar garment you own and measure it laying flat, then compare your numbers with mine-they do not need to be exactly the same, just similar. If you know your body measurements, remember that some garments (especially non-stretch fabrics) require a few inches of wiggle room in areas such as the hip. See my "About" page for a tip on determining your body measurements.

Additional policies

I have a basic "how to" for determining your measurements on my About page:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/aorta/about/

Please use the measurements and info provided in the item details. Letter and number sizing is an approximation. There is no industry standard on sizing, so it can be subjective. (This is why you might wear a 2 from one big box store and a 6 from another.) I urge you to use the measurements provided to determine your best fit.
My prices are fair and firm. Sorry, I don't give discounts.
When buying multiple items, shipping will auto-combine in your cart. On the rare occasion there will still be an overage. I refund overages exceeding $3.
Only for people I know.
