Oyas of L.A.

Oyas are the perfect solution to help your plants grow with less water. They are handmade with porous clay for the body and neck, and a glass lid. Water will infiltrate through the body inside the ground. About 8 L (about 2 gallons.) Large size.

Dig a hole near the plant. Place the Oya inside the hole, leave the top cover off the ground.

Replace the ground ensures around the Oya, press the ground around the Oya for you that it is in contact with the clay.

Fill the Oya with water, place the lid on the hole

The Oya retains the watered soil on a surface equivalent to the diameter of the Oya.

The great Oya has a diameter of 10".5, it will water a total surface diameter of 2'1/2.

The height is 13".5

This size is perfect for a bush, a small tree or a vegetable garden... The price is for an Oya.

Gratiane's Oya's are absolutely gorgeous and so well-made! My garden is already so happy to have these keeping everything hydrated. I bought two brands of ollas and this is by far the best. They are larger than any others I found (I'm growing thirsty tomatoes) and I just like the design better since the "bowl" is big and round so holds more water. The most important thing though, is that they are fired the exact right amount. The other ollas lost water too quickly. These are spot on and retain water for...months during winter and lose it about once a week in summer. They are sturdy, handsome and Gratiane is very communicative and even did custom colors for me (sorry Gratiane, now everyone is going to want it).
